Mednarodno poletno šolo muzeologije v sodelovanju z različnimi domačimi in mednarodnimi partnerji izvajata Oddelek za arheologijo in dediščino Fakultete za humanistične študije Univerze na Primorskem ter Inštitut za arheologijo in dediščino UP FHŠ. Poletna šola muzeologije poteka v Piranu v prostorih Inštituta za arheologijo in dediščino ter v Kopru, na Fakulteti za humanistične študije.

PROGRAMME AND GOALS

Programme of the summer school is designed in collaboration with institutions covering different aspects in the field of museology. It is based on the exchange of good practices from European specialists with wide and diverse experience and expertise. These will be offered in the form of lectures, workshops and debates.

The main goal of the summer school is to provide and establish communication and an open debate between museum specialists, educators and students. Participants will have a chance to learn about past and ongoing museum projects and good practices, with a goal of rethinking the purpose of museums, their current role within and relationship with society. Lecturers from six European countries will share their experience, knowledge, views, strategies and thoughts about museums and museology, thus enabling the participants to gain a broader European contemporary perspective on the topic.

PARTICIPANTS

Based on the transfer of knowledge and exchange of ideas through communication, 13th International School of Museology is designed for different participants, such as museum curators, students, educators in the field of museology and all others, interested in museums as active and dynamic stakeholders in contemporary society.

 

PARTICIPATING STUDENTS WILL ACQUIRE 3 ECTS.

Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation cost for the registration fee will be refunded until 15th May 2018. Beyond this date there will be no refund.
