Between July 13 and 18, 2024 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neža Čebron Lipovec attended the international urban planning conference "Urban futures - Cultural pasts" in Barcelona, organized by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the AMPS organization (Architecture, Media, Politics, Society).

Between July 13 and 18, 2024 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neža Čebron Lipovec attended the international urban planning conference “Urban futures – Cultural pasts” in Barcelona, ​​organized by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the AMPS organization (Architecture, Media, Politics, Society).

Assist. Prof. Dr. Neža Čebron Lipovec (UP FHŠ and the UNESCO Chair in Interpretation and Education for the Promotion of Integrated Approaches to Heritage)  presented research results on the introduction of participatory practices in the preservation of immovable cultural heritage into the Slovenian heritage management system, which she initially obtained through her postdoctoral project “The potential of ethnographic methods in the conservation of built heritage in contested areas; the case of Northern Istria”, and which she has built upon within the framework of the large fundamental interdisciplinary scientific project HEI-TRANSFORM.
