The agreement was signed by the Dean of UP FHŠ , Prof. Dr. Irena Lazar, and the President of the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport , Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel-Ghafar Ismail Faraj. The signing was also attended by Prof. Dr. Ernest Zhenko (UP FHŠ), Prof. Hanan Junaid (Faculty of mass communication at Cairo University) and Prof. Dr. Sally Grad.
The agreement, which is the result of long-term international cooperation, opens up new opportunities in the fields of scientific research, academic education and professional training, in particular in cooperation with the countries of the European Union. The aim is to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of education, culture and scientific research, including the organisation of summer schools, international exchanges, scientific conferences and guest lectures.
