Linguists from UP participated in the first T4EU language workshop in Saarland

Linguists from the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Primorska participated in the first Transform4Europe language workshop organized by the Language Centre of the University of Saarland. The aim of the workshop is to improve cross-border cooperation in language teaching and to explore best practices and visions for establishing a mutual exchange of language studies.

From 18 to 20 September, the workshop was attended by colleagues from the Department of Slovene Studies, the Department of Italian Studies and the Department of Applied Linguistics, namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Klara Šumenjak, Lect. Nika Pavletić, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tina Čok, Dr. Rok Kobal and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irina Makarova Tominec.

The workshop included an analysis of current approaches to language teaching in higher education networks, including existing resources and structures.
