OUR VISION

UP FHŠ will strengthen and develop in the field of pedagogy and research and become widely recognized for its modernly designed, high-quality and interdisciplinary study programs, with optionality that allows students to adapt their studies to their own interests, for the nationally and internationally recognized research work of teachers and students, and orientation towards the characteristic cultural space of the northern Adriatic part of the Mediterranean, towards the wider Slovenian and international space.

OUR MISSION

At UP FHŠ, we contribute to the sustainable development of society by opening our minds to new knowledge, cooperation and respect for the views of others. Students are actively involved in the educational process and research. They acquire knowledge of the humanities, social sciences and arts in an open dialogue, with the help of modern educational methods, project work and practical training outside of the institution. This enables them to develop into broad-minded, critical and responsible personalities. Combining the knowledge of various disciplines and the experience of a multicultural, multilingual and open Mediterranean environment gives them additional opportunities for independent and active integration into society.
