The Confucius Classroom Koper of the University of Primorska (KUK UP) was established in November 2014. It aims to spread knowledge of Chinese language and culture among pupils, students and the general public through educational activities and cultural events. KUK UPs main activities are courses, workshops and summer schools for all ages. The courses develop intercultural attitudes and communication skills, enabling participants to communicate successfully with Chinese people in the educational field as well as in the business world. We showcase Chinas rich and diverse culture through cultural and other events.

The teaching process at KUK UP is conducted by Chinese teachers in addition to Sinologists, which allows participants to have genuine linguistic and cultural contact and to get to know the Chinese cultural environment directly.
