Tutoring
About tutoring at UP FHŠ
A tutoring system has been established at the faculty with the purpose of comprehensive assistance and support to faculty students. Students are offered various information related to the study process, the contents of the study process, and above all they are helpful in choosing elective subjects and, last but not least, purely practical advice relating to study and extracurricular activities. Tutors can be higher education teachers and colleagues, research associates and students. A student tutor can be any full-time or part-time student who has successfully completed the first year of study at UP FHŠ and is enrolled at the 1st, 2nd or 3rd cycle of study at UP FHŠ.
Student tutoring is mainly intended for first-year students who find themselves in a new living and educational environment and the student tutors help them by providing important information and integrating them into the study environment.
Tutors for foreign students offer newcomers who come to Slovenia for an exchange or full-time studies, support in integration into a new environment, administrative matters and language barriers. Tutors for students with special needs enable students to adapt more quickly and integrate more successfully into the student environment and studies.
Applications are made via the online form, and the motivation letter should be sent to the UP FHŠ office.
