The event focused on the essential role humanitarian organisations play when natural disasters, conflicts, or other emergencies strike. Our guest speaker, Mojca Cenčič from the Red Cross of Slovenia, presented the organisation’s key activities, the challenges it faces, and its crucial role both in immediate crisis response and in long-term recovery efforts.

Introductory presentations were delivered by Karmen Medica and Lia Lola V. Kotnik from the Department of Media Studies (UP FHŠ), who discussed the project and the crucial local, regional, national, and international institutional actors involved in disaster management.
