The University of Primorska University Library (Trubarjeva 1, Koper) is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week to all students and staff. The library brings together the collections of the four University of Primorska faculties in Koper, as well as the collection of UP FVZ.

In addition to borrowing materials, reading room facilities are also available.

A new feature of this year’s workshops is that registration via email (izobrazevanje_uk@upr.si) is mandatory. If there are no registrations, the workshop will not take place.

Since January 2021, a joint information service has been operating at the UP University Library. Its main tasks include providing information to users of all UP libraries, user training, and promoting information literacy.

The activities of the information service began in February 2021 and, due to the current situation in the country, focus on information provision and the delivery of training in an online environment.

The activities of the UP University Library information service are carried out and coordinated by Tina Lekan Kraševec from the Joint Library of UP FM and UP PEF, with the support of the UP University Library management and staff of individual libraries.

The core activities of the UP University Library information service include regular training sessions and a virtual INFO point for users of all UP libraries.

Open access to materials has been reintroduced. You may browse the shelves and select books yourself. If you wish, you can also order materials in advance by email (knjiznica@fhs.upr.si) or reserve them via COBISS.

Please contact us using your university email address (studentnumber@student.upr.si). In your message, include the following information:

• first and last name
• enrolment number
• COBISS ID and shelf mark
• author and title of the material

Please also check in advance whether the material is available for loan.
