In the first week of July, the Summer School of Chinese Language and Culture takes place at the premises of the Confucius Classroom Koper. During the summer school, the program is tailored to different age groups, with participants assigned based on their prior knowledge of Chinese.

The annual courses are intended for emigrants, their children, and members of Slovene communities abroad at all levels of proficiency—from beginners to advanced learners. They last two weeks (40 hours) and, in addition to young participants, also include older attendees, thereby fostering intergenerational and international connections.

The summer school takes place every year at the beginning of September under the auspices of the UNESCO Chair on Interpretation and Education for Enhancing Integrated Approaches to Heritage at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Humanities.
