UP FHŠ Student Council
Presentation
The Faculty Student Council is a representative body composed exclusively of students. It represents students in their relations with the faculty and university leadership. The Council discusses matters related to students’ rights and obligations, reviews faculty regulations, and submits opinions and proposals to the relevant governing bodies. Based on student surveys, it also provides feedback on the teaching activities of higher education lecturers. In addition, students are represented in individual faculty bodies through their elected representatives.
Any student enrolled in a study programme at UP FHŠ may become a member of the Student Council. Students who wish to represent a specific study programme may apply through the call for elections to the UP FHŠ Student Council, which is usually held at the beginning of each academic year. The term of office for Student Council members is one year or until a new Council is constituted.
