We kindly invite to the guest lecture as part of the course HERITAGE INTERPRETATION (Department of archaeology and heritage), on Monday 9 November 2026 at 10am, in the classroom MAESTRAL 3.

Our guest lecturer will be PANAYOTIS ANTONIADIS, who will give a lecture entitled :TALKING BUILDINGS: IMPERSONATION AS A COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND LEARNING TOOL

Since September 2024, the Talking Buildings methodology has been tried out in different community engagement processes in the area of sustainable renovation of cultural heritage buildings, for stimulating public participation and awareness, for facilitating design workshops, for learning processes in secondary education, for campaigning, and more. In this lecture I will share the experience from these efforts and discuss the added value that impersonation brings in standard participatory and community engagement processes, and various methodological guidelines in using the Talking Buildings approach in different settings.
