Prof. Dr. Katja Hrobat Virloget teaches across both undergraduate and master’s levels at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Primorska. Her courses reflect a broad engagement with anthropology, ethnology, and heritage studies, emphasizing the intersections between culture, belief, identity, and space.

At the undergraduate level, she teaches courses such as Regional Ethnographies: Europe, Identities and Migration, Ethnology of Beliefs, Myth and Space, Historical Anthropology, Ethnological and Intangible Heritage, Research Methodologies of Heritage II, and the interdisciplinary course Between Archaeology and Ethnology.

At the master’s level, her teaching includes Ethnology of Europe, Ethnology of Slovenia, Migration, Globalization and Transculturality, Anthropology of Religion, and Anthropology of Ritual. She also lectures on Heritage Tourism: Intangible Heritage and Concepts of Heritage Management and Presentation.

Her teaching emphasizes critical, research-based approaches to cultural and heritage studies, encouraging students to explore how heritage, memory, and identity are shaped through social and historical processes.
